Quote Of The Day
"He's a great guy. I've had him since he was a baby and now he's 5ft 10in. He's spoiled rotten - he has his own enclosure and a female pot-bellied pig in there who is his lover. Kangaroos will hump anything. I think the pig likes it. There's also a goat in the who he grew up with but they're just friends" - Vanilla Ice on his pet kangaroo. That's his pet kangaroo.

Story Of The Day
'Andreas Muller, 39, has gone to extreme lengths to win himself a car - having the word 'Mini' tattooed on to his penis. The crazy German decided to have the rather painful tattoo after a radio station ran a competition to win a £20,000 Mini Cooper. The brief: whoever pulled the craziest stunt to get the car would win. Unsurprisingly, Muller's offer to have the car manufacturer's name branded on to his penis topped the list of crazy suggestions. 'There were a lot of crazy stunts put forward by listeners, but Andreas won by a short head,' said one of the competition's organisers. Radio listeners were then treated to Muller's cries of agony while the unique piece of branding was created. Muller claims the pain was worth it, saying: 'Once I'm sitting in the car, it won't matter anymore. Then the pain will be gone and it'll be alright.' It has not been reported whether or not Mr Muller has a girlfriend' - Metro.

That story is just legendary. Imagine ladies, you're about to give this guy you've just met some lovin' and BAM! IT SAYS MINI!

Headphones

What's happenin' guys and girls.

So today I have ordered a set of gaming headphones as I am badly in need of something along the lines of a mic but also great headphones. I started as one should with most problems in life, Google. I put up a search of gaming headphone companies and came along Turtle Beach. Now I love Turtles and I also love the beach, so it's a perfect one-two right? Now the Turtle Beach guys seem to have a leading product in the shape of the X11s. These are predominantly XBOX headsets only but it seems to that most or all of the Turtle Beach headphones while being a certain gaming type, can be used for the trio (XBOX, PS and PC). This is a smart tactic on their part because how people do you know with just a singular console nowadays, present company excluded (PC4L). Now upon doing a little bit of research it seems that the X11s while being great low budget, very decent headphones. It would probably be best to go for PC ones first. I then find the Z2 Gaming Headset; they are made for the PC but can be used on XBOX (although not PS on first looks). They can also be plugged in to the Wired/Wireless XBOX controller for the PC, for those of us who love Fifa and Pro Eve. This reminds me, I need to do a post on Fifa VS Pro Eve.

Now, what every single person in the world should be when buying any sort of electric type equipment. GET FEEDBACK! As you can see on the Z2 link, only one person has reviewed this headset. Here is where the smart part of your brain needs to listen. Copy the name of whatever you are looking to buy and YouTube, it's that simple. This will honestly help you out so much, when searching for "Turtle Beach Ear Force Z2 Gaming Headset." Thirteen results are produced, five of them being review videos. These reviews allow you the chance to hear from people who have used endless amount of headsets or just people who have bought the Z2 as their first one. It also allows you to really see the product, how it looks in light, how long cables could be, how big it actually is compared to a picture. I watched Turtle Beach Ear Force Z2 Video Review and decided that this video was enough for me to purchase the product. So I went back to the Amazon link and looked at prices of other retailers thanks to Invisible Hand, which I linked in a previous post. I found that while Amazon was offering the Z2 at a decent price of £46.78. Invisible Hand allowed me to see that Zavvi hand them at a steal £37.85. That's a damn good saving of £8.93. Both sites offer free P&P which is always good. So it's been a worthwhile experience just by using some common sense and getting the right tools to help myself, in this case, get the best deal. Cause otherwise you're gimping yourself, ya big gimp.

I just mowed the LAAAWN!

I didn't really. Inside joke!

So, I'm now back at work which means I'm like consta tired again. Work is like so emotionally draining it's probably illegal. I don't know how that would work out but why not?

Arsenal were on the telly again tonight and played ... well. Dj in defence is honestly brilliant, especially with Sagna to the right of him. Koscielny I think will get better and better as time goes on but he gets a bit carrot on a stick happy. Clichy was nothing special really. Szczesny was solid without being tested. Denilson was pretty good considering what kind of player he is when Song isn't playing. Deni, sits back way more than he has and roughs the opposition up a fair bit. Wilshere and Fabregas are becoming a dream time together. With Cescs pure footballing skill and ability and Jacks grace and passing with the ball, it's a beautiful thing. Then if you add in Aaron Ramsey coming back to fitness and a excellent player in Nasir and Song. That's some spine for the midfield. However this is where Arsenal lack, width. Walcott is our only proper pacey wide player, who doesn't really have an end product at the moment. Arshavin likes to play behind the striker more as he tried to for the last 20 earlier on. His game will pick up as he goes, he did set up two on tonights goals as well. RVP was good again, without being his normal self as he was permanently marked and still managed a few chances. Things are looking good for Arsenal.

Forfar also managed to get a win tonight by beating Dumbarton are their ground 2-1. We seemed to score in the 71st and then 72nd minute, which is lol. It's good that they can restart their season with a win as they haven't been able to play any friendlies in the time games were called off as well. I don't think I'll be able to see them this week but hopefully I can go to one game next week.

Packers made the Super Bowl which was a nice thing to find out. I pretty much love any team in green and yellow for some reason. They are up against the Steelers though and their QB is a bitch to play against cause you look at him and go "Right, where's the BBQ this guy has just come from?"

My GF is watching Romeo and Juliet so I might just run in to and dive to sleep to avoid that "O THOU I ARE IN LOVETH WITH THEE LADY!" Ugh.

How we're rollin'

When we on online for the first time on any PC, this is how we roll. As quoted by UrbanDictionary:
internet explorer
A simple Windows XP tool which allows the user to browse to Mozilla.com and download Firefox, a web browser.
As soon as I installed XP I opened Internet Explorer and grabbed the latest version of Firefox.
Firefox, simply put, is the best browser out there at the moment. People do like to use Chrome and Safari, they are completely acceptable choices too. So long as less people use Internet Explorer (IE) the better. The main reason Firefox is a lot better is you feel that it's made by people and a community rather than a product like IE. A simple way Firefox has easily done this is by allowing the creation and use of customization. This is done in the form of plugins, themes and addons. You can completely change the UI of the browser while also increasing the functionality.

Some of the plugins I like to use for Firefox:
Ad Block Plus - If you do switch to Firefox, use this plugin. It will save you endless ads and pop ups. One amazing feature is that it can actually disable ads on YouTube videos.
Download Status Bar - This adds a bar at the bottom of the screen once downloads begin within the Firefox window. Also allows you to run from the icon at the bottom or open the folder.
Hide Menu Bar - Thankfully does exactly as it says. You press ALT to show or change the options to mouseover and boosh it's gone.
Invisible Hand - We all link to buy things online. However, when we buy things online we can get lazy and not search for the best deal. So why not let this nifty plugin do it for you! Window Shopper is a choice aswell.
English Dictionary - While technically not being an plugin, this does save me from spelling mistakes.Trolls can be so harsh when you spell "YOU FKCING TAWT!"
And my number one plugin:
StumbleUpon - This is simply one of those things where you try it and you go "That is fantastic." It's completely simple and wonderful in it's use. I'll let the guys who make it, tell you about it:
StumbleUpon helps you discover and share great websites. As you click Stumble!, we deliver high-quality pages matched to your personal preferences. These pages have been explicitly recommended by your friends or one of 8 million+ other websurfers with interests similar to you.
Enjoy any of the links and comment with any of your own favourites.

Two Posts - Blog Record

Yep, it may be hard to believe but I've had a fair few blogs that haven't reached the grand old makr of TWO posts. But this one, we are going all the way man! DOUBLE RAINBOW!

Forfars match against Livingston was called off today due to a frozen pitch. Forfar now haven't played for 10 weeks. It'll be a wonderful if they remember what a football even looks like at this rate. Arsenal managed to notch another very good win today against Wigan, a team whom I do like. Robin Van Persie (RVP) netted all three goals and has been in fantastic form since coming back from injury. I remember Football365 article pointing out that both RVP and Wayne Rooney would both recover from injury at the same. Then went to some comparison in goal scoring records and performance and general importance to the team. Rooney has only notched up, if I remember right, one penalty and one goal from open play. RVP has netted seven goals since coming back to the Arsenal team. I think that this little competition may have some say on where the teams finish in the league. Although the Man Utd defence is so far beyond, in greatness, than any other team. It's hard to say that goal scoring will count as champions when Arsenal's back line can concede goals. If we had a fit Djourou and Vermaelinator, we would, no doubt be higher in the league. Hopefully Arsenal can snatch Samba from Blackburn as this would be an enormous signing.
