Hey folks, as thought, I have missed out on actual blogging. One topic I wish to cover tonight is ... friends.
What is a friend? Dictionary.com tells us that a friend is most commonly: "A person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard."
This does make sense because if you like someone you do regard them as person you wish to interface more with. However, as with everything in life, something that is one thing to you may be completely different to another. A friend for me is someone who asks the question, of which I feel truly bonds people. That question is quite simply "You?" All through my life, I have had people in my life that I could call "friends." However I more see people as I know you, your name for example. For someone to be my friend they have to want to engage with me. This seems to be a massive problem in my life. Whilst I was at primary school (ages 5-12) I had a couple of friends, people I knew and then occasionally a best friend. Then whilst at high school (ages 12-18) I had a best friend for 3 of those years. He and I were almost not seen apart but then he grew up I guess and I had a very difficult time in dealing with this. I had to realise that it wasn't that he matured and it was in fact he never asked "You?". At that time it seemed to be where kids would date, drink, smoke and maybe do drugs. I wasn't included any of these things but probably because I wasn't a cool kid. I really wasn't interested in any of these things, I just wanted to game and enjoy my time with friends that really knew me. The friends that I had from primary school that also went to my high school left around the time I was 17. I then realised that I was almost completely alone in reality and this upset me but not to the point where I let it affect me.
I was such a gamer, I had become a nerd. I would go in to online chat rooms and talk to hundreds of people I never met or knew in any way. I had a place where I could go "Hey, how are you?" They would then reply "Fine, thanks. You?" It's incredible. Simply by people saying one word to me they have instantly gained some respect of mine. So much of the modern world has become a self-obsessed place. I look at things in the world, the increase of prices on anything, bad manners on TV and streets, complete rudeness between strangers. We now live in world where you better look at yourself because no one else will. This is where I think friends change the way I live. If I think someone if truly a friend, I want them beside me at all time. In reality though, that's not possible because as of right now, I feel like I have work friends and online friends. My only true friend is, thankfully, my girlfriend. I've been with her for 7 years now and she still wants to know about my day. That to me is bliss. I think this is where I "fail" at keeping friends. I want to be all or nothing and not a thing in between.
A friend for me is someone who replies "You?"
What's Happenin' people this is zefrogi chatting at you. I hope you are well and enjoy your life *cough* stay here.

I have a fantastic life with a wonderful family, an amazing girlfriend and fantastic friends. It would be only be that I would wish they were happy after I had left.

Three of the most beautiful songs I've ever listened to and all mean something to me.
And because hey it's my day, my most precious song in the world.

"He's a great guy. I've had him since he was a baby and now he's 5ft 10in. He's spoiled rotten - he has his own enclosure and a female pot-bellied pig in there who is his lover. Kangaroos will hump anything. I think the pig likes it. There's also a goat in the who he grew up with but they're just friends" - Vanilla Ice on his pet kangaroo. That's his pet kangaroo.
Story Of The Day
'Andreas Muller, 39, has gone to extreme lengths to win himself a car - having the word 'Mini' tattooed on to his penis. The crazy German decided to have the rather painful tattoo after a radio station ran a competition to win a £20,000 Mini Cooper. The brief: whoever pulled the craziest stunt to get the car would win. Unsurprisingly, Muller's offer to have the car manufacturer's name branded on to his penis topped the list of crazy suggestions. 'There were a lot of crazy stunts put forward by listeners, but Andreas won by a short head,' said one of the competition's organisers. Radio listeners were then treated to Muller's cries of agony while the unique piece of branding was created. Muller claims the pain was worth it, saying: 'Once I'm sitting in the car, it won't matter anymore. Then the pain will be gone and it'll be alright.' It has not been reported whether or not Mr Muller has a girlfriend' - Metro.
That story is just legendary. Imagine ladies, you're about to give this guy you've just met some lovin' and BAM! IT SAYS MINI!
Welcome to the Internet, where the men are men, the women are men, the children are police officers, everyone is correct all of the time, even when they're wrong, and where opinions are more valid the more insults and swear words you include with them.

Headphones
What's happenin' guys and girls.
So today I have ordered a set of gaming headphones as I am badly in need of something along the lines of a mic but also great headphones. I started as one should with most problems in life, Google. I put up a search of gaming headphone companies and came along Turtle Beach. Now I love Turtles and I also love the beach, so it's a perfect one-two right? Now the Turtle Beach guys seem to have a leading product in the shape of the X11s. These are predominantly XBOX headsets only but it seems to that most or all of the Turtle Beach headphones while being a certain gaming type, can be used for the trio (XBOX, PS and PC). This is a smart tactic on their part because how people do you know with just a singular console nowadays, present company excluded (PC4L). Now upon doing a little bit of research it seems that the X11s while being great low budget, very decent headphones. It would probably be best to go for PC ones first. I then find the Z2 Gaming Headset; they are made for the PC but can be used on XBOX (although not PS on first looks). They can also be plugged in to the Wired/Wireless XBOX controller for the PC, for those of us who love Fifa and Pro Eve. This reminds me, I need to do a post on Fifa VS Pro Eve.
Now, what every single person in the world should be when buying any sort of electric type equipment. GET FEEDBACK! As you can see on the Z2 link, only one person has reviewed this headset. Here is where the smart part of your brain needs to listen. Copy the name of whatever you are looking to buy and YouTube, it's that simple. This will honestly help you out so much, when searching for "Turtle Beach Ear Force Z2 Gaming Headset." Thirteen results are produced, five of them being review videos. These reviews allow you the chance to hear from people who have used endless amount of headsets or just people who have bought the Z2 as their first one. It also allows you to really see the product, how it looks in light, how long cables could be, how big it actually is compared to a picture. I watched Turtle Beach Ear Force Z2 Video Review and decided that this video was enough for me to purchase the product. So I went back to the Amazon link and looked at prices of other retailers thanks to Invisible Hand, which I linked in a previous post. I found that while Amazon was offering the Z2 at a decent price of £46.78. Invisible Hand allowed me to see that Zavvi hand them at a steal £37.85. That's a damn good saving of £8.93. Both sites offer free P&P which is always good. So it's been a worthwhile experience just by using some common sense and getting the right tools to help myself, in this case, get the best deal. Cause otherwise you're gimping yourself, ya big gimp.
